All We Can Do Is Dance is an international dance film series that started in 2012. These films are usually one-shot takes of an improvised dance performance, set in a place with strong visual impact. The project’s further defining characteristics are the emphasis on the performer’s personality and the deliberate pas de deux of cinematographers and dancers in close cooperation and harmony. The location plays a great part in each video’s rhythm, as passers-by, nature or even a blurred sound in the background can affect the dancer’s moves or the cameraman’s strategy, subordinating each session to the element of spontaneity and its possible imperfections.

After Brussels and London, the project arrives in Budapest to capture Hungarian dancers and choreographers as they discover the city’s iconic places and hidden nooks, while dancing their hearts out.
