Tucked at the foot of MOM Park, Spíler Buda is no longer the new kid on the block but one of Buda’s most beloved go-to spots. Here, a simple weekday dinner easily turns into a long, laughter-filled evening, a quick lunch often stretches into a glass (or two) of wine, and a round of cocktails might just lead to a spontaneous night of dancing. No matter when you drop by, you can be sure you’re in good hands — the service is warm and attentive, the vibe is friendly yet effortlessly cool, and the food and cocktails alone are worth coming back for — again and again.

The menu has been refreshed — but the Spíler DNA remains the same
The new menu feels fresh without trying too hard to be “hyper-trendy.” The kitchen clearly knows what guests love, opting for fine-tuning rather than a full-blown revolution. The classic handmade Spíler burgers, the hearty goulash, and the signature schnitzels (now available with two types of meat) are still there — but new, lighter, fresher, and more shareable dishes have also made their debut.

Taste, share, and enjoy every bite!
At Spíler Buda, you’ll now find plenty of small plates that pair perfectly with a good drink — ideal for sharing or for those who love to sample a bit of everything. And here’s a nice little touch: if you mix and match three to five dishes, you’ll get them at a friendlier price, too.

Let’s take a look at what’s on the menu! The pil-pil prawns, cooked with a touch of tomato, garlic, and chili, and served with toasted sourdough, are simple yet spot-on — the perfect choice if you’d rather skip the food coma. And the baby squid with lime and Peruvian green sauce is the kind of dish that makes you forget you’re in Buda and not somewhere along the coast of Valencia.

You’ll also find tacos with chicken or beef, hummus, salmon ceviche, buffalo wings, and dirty fries with cheddar sauce — all perfect examples of Spíler’s laid-back sharing concept.

And what about the superfoods, you ask?
For those who prefer greens over burgers or steak, Spíler has plenty to offer. The superfood salad is not only colourful but genuinely satisfying — packed with quinoa, chickpeas, and avocado, it’s everything you crave, with just the right touch of guilt-free indulgence. You’ll also find a miso salmon bowl and a classic Caesar salad, each with that signature Spíler twist that makes them feel like a full meal rather than a diet option.

When it comes to meat, Spíler takes it seriously
Among the grilled favourites, the Angus rib-eye steak and BBQ pork ribs are clear crowd-pleasers, while the braised beef cheek stew is the ultimate comfort food — rich, hearty, and full of flavour. And for something a little more refined, the chicken breast with wild mushrooms and truffle mashed potatoes is a must-try. These are the kinds of dishes made for evenings that stretch a little longer than planned.

Desserts you simply shouldn’t skip
You’ll find the desserts on a separate menu, featuring Spíler’s all-time favourites — the classic Somlói sponge cake and the gooey chocolate brownie — alongside a few must-try newcomers. We especially recommend the Basque baked cheesecake with chocolate sauce and the Spíler Ekmek, a truly special dessert that’s perfect for sharing — even for two, it’s more than enough, making it an ideal choice for a date night.
The Ekmek comes with crispy kataifi pastry filled with creamy cheese, drizzled with orange blossom syrup, topped with pistachios, and served with sour cream ice cream — a flavour that subtly recalls Hungarian túrógombóc, yet feels entirely unique. For the best experience, make sure to get a little bit of everything on your spoon — that’s where the real magic happens.

Decadent cocktails and refreshing mocktails
Of course, alongside the impressive selection of spirits, lemonades, wines, champagnes, and gin & tonics — not to mention Spíler’s very own light and dark beers — it’s worth turning your attention to the cocktail list. Behind the bar, the team is mixing up bold and exciting drinks that hit all the right notes. Fans of Aperol Spritz or gin & tonic won’t be disappointed, and the best part? Most cocktails — and plenty of others — are also available in alcohol-free versions.
There are even dessert cocktails to end the night on a sweet note: the ever-popular Espresso Martini, the indulgent Bueno Martini, or the autumn-perfect Apple Pie Martini all make for a delicious finale.

Spíler Buda doesn’t try to be more than it is — and that’s exactly why it’s so easy to love. It’s not here to reinvent hospitality or chase fine dining trends; it simply does what it does best, with style and confidence. Whether you’re planning a family lunch, a business dinner, a date night, or cocktails with the girls, Spíler Buda is always a great choice. With its bold yet welcoming atmosphere, it’s the kind of place where having a good time isn’t just likely — it’s guaranteed.
