Filming begins
The photo confirms what Dune fans have been eagerly anticipating: Zendaya has officially arrived in Budapest. According to the production schedule, filming kicks off this week—so keep your eyes peeled.
You just might spot Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, or even Christopher Walken strolling the streets of the city.
The story is coming to a close
Director Denis Villeneuve has hinted that this third instalment will bring the Dune trilogy to a close, although spin-offs may still expand the cinematic universe. The saga’s first chapter grossed over $407 million worldwide and took home six Oscars, while the sequel earned five nominations. The final part is expected to hit cinemas in late 2026.
