When the city's newest culinary and cultural hub opens later this year in the historic Corvin Palace, visitors will be able to taste their way through dishes by Anyukám Mondta, Pingrumba, 101 Bistro, and Szaletly—four standout restaurants that represent the rich and ever-evolving flavours of Budapest.

Anyukám Mondta, the legendary family-run restaurant from Encs, will be making its long-awaited Budapest debut with handmade focaccia, DOP pizza, and warm hospitality straight from the Dudás brothers' kitchen.

Pingrumba brings a colourful blend of Middle Eastern and North African flavours, complete with smoky grilled vegetables, spiced meats, and their much-loved hummus, all designed for sharing.

From across the culinary map, 101 Bistro will showcase their bold, Taipei-inspired bistro dishes made with local ingredients—favourites like spicy Sichuan spinach and shoupa chicken included.

Szaletly, meanwhile, stays close to home with a modern take on Hungarian classics like goulash soup and poppy seed bread pudding. Chef Dániel Bernát puts a seasonal spin on traditional flavours, creating comforting dishes that feel both nostalgic and fresh. The restaurant's philosophy is rooted in showcasing the depth of Hungarian cuisine with creativity and respect, making it a perfect fit for the market's mission.

The beverage offering is just as thoughtfully curated. Dreher joins the Market as a key partner, offering fresh, unpasteurised tank beer—a nod to the brand's long-standing brewing tradition and its founder, Antal Dreher. Guests can enjoy a crisp pour while seated at one of the 540 communal tables that fill the Market's 2,500-square-metre space.

Situated on the first floor of the recently restored Corvin Palace on Blaha Lujza Square, the Market will house 11 kitchens, three bars, five event spaces, and a year-round cultural programme. It's a celebration of what makes Budapest so dynamic: heritage, innovation, and flavours worth gathering around.
With this first wave of vendors, Time Out Market Budapest is already shaping up to be a landmark destination for locals and visitors alike.
