Marumba's Goose Festival

St Martin’s Day (November 11th) is just around the corner, and if you’re not already gearing up for a goose-filled feast, you’re missing out on a delicious Hungarian tradition. To avoid that, head to Marumba, a chic new spot in Budapest’s Jewish Quarter that’s all about Hungarian cuisine with a modern twist. From November 7th to 17th, they’re serving up seasonal delights like crispy goose leg with braised red cabbage and mashed potatoes. Or dive into a hearty bowl of 'ludaskása’ – a goose stew with grains, pulled goose, and veggies. Don’t forget to save room for 'lúdláb’ dessert – a cocoa sponge cake with rum-soaked cherry. Pair it all with some natural wines.
