Keep an eye out when you stroll through Millenáris Park – guerrilla artist Mihály Kolodko has just left behind a new creation.

After a green Yoda popped up at the Metro Line 4 station at Szent Gellért tér, perched on a bannister, guerilla artist Mihály Kolodko is back with a new surprise. Known for his whimsical figurines scattered around the city – like Winnie-the-Pooh in the 7th district or a tied-up Chuck Norris at the foot of Megyeri bridge (on the Pest side) – Kolodko has added another creation.

This time, you'll need to head to Millenáris Park – enter from Lövőház utca and maybe grab a Danish from nor/ma grand on your way. Then look out over the water. Right in the middle, you'll spot the late queen of the UK, Elizabeth II standing tall and proud on top of a submarine.

But what's the connection between the late queen and a submarine?

Well, Queen Elizabeth II appointed each of The Beatles as Members of the British Empire (MBE), and not long after, they released their hit song 'Yellow Submarine'.
