Brad Pitt is starring in a new Formula 1 movie currently being filmed on the Hungarian track – right where the Grand Prix is taking place this weekend. And that's no coincidence: a special aspect of the film is that it's being shot during racing weekends. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, 'F1' follows a retired driver who makes a comeback (Brad Pitt) to mentor and team with a younger driver (Damson Idris).
The film, with a budget now exceeding 300 million USD due to several actors' strikes, is set to premiere in cinemas in 2025. And Kerry Condon, Lewis Hamilton, Javier Bardem and Tobias Menzies will all appear in it. We have no information on how long Pitt will stay in Hungary, but we do know that he's currently residing at a downtown luxury hotel, commuting to the Hungaroring from there.
