Football fans, it's time to start planning a Budapest trip for 2026. Because if you do, you can be part of the UEFA club competition finals, which will be hosted in the Hungarian capital.

The UEFA Executive Committee met today in Dublin and made some serious decisions, including the location of the UEFA Champions League Final 2026. The prestigious event will be hosted at Budapest's Puskás Arena, a stadium named after Hungarian football legend Ferenc Puskás. Although the stadium has never hosted such major championships before, it has already proven to be a great location for the EL final and European Super Cup final.

The finals this year will be held on June 1st at London's  Wembley Stadium , while next year, Munich's  Allianz Arena  will serve as the host.
