Cirkó-Gejzír is an old-school but lovable cinema near Jászai Mari tér. Nestled in a basement, it's tiny – resembling a family living room. But the reason we love it so much is that they screen the latest art films in their original language, meaning you can catch movies in English, French and Spanish.
And now you can do all this for less. From May 8th to the end of the year, anyone under 30 gets a 30 % discount on full-priced tickets. And between May 9th and 31st, any age group can buy a pass for a super low price: HUF 30,000, giving unlimited access to films for a year. So if you live in Budapest and are a cinemagoer, it sounds like a great deal.
You can buy passes online or at the ticket counter. More details on the Hungarian website here.
