InterContinental Budapest's magical festive season will once again offer pampering luxury and unforgettable experiences. On December 25th, you can enjoy a special Christmas Brunch, combining Hungarian and Lebanese flavours. The rich buffet offers a selection of special Christmas and Lebanese dishes, and a wide range of local wines and beers, soft drinks, coffee, and tea, all served in the ARZ Lebanese Restaurant. With live music, a stunning view of the Danube Promenade, and cosy vibes, you can easily get into the holiday spirit and even catch a glimpse of the Christmas tram!

The new year will see new delicacies, too; you are invited to start 2024 with a delicious breakfast from 6:30 am until noon. Live music will provide a pleasant atmosphere during brunch and breakfast.

Between December  20th and 29th, InterContinental Budapest will be serving a special Christmas Set Menu from 6 pm to 10 pm, so if you're looking to spend a pleasant evening with your partner, family, friends, or business partners this season, book a table as soon as possible! The restaurant is staying open on December 24th too, so you can sample the most popular Hungarian and Lebanese Christmas dishes on Christmas Eve.

You can welcome New Year at the Corso Restaurant, enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner with Hungarian, Lebanese, and international New Year's Eve dishes, toast with Kreinbacher Magnum sparkling wine, a wide selection of local wines, beers, and many more. Dinner will be served from 7 pm with live music elevating the atmosphere.

At the Corso Bar, on New Year's Eve, you can bid adieu to 2023 with a special three-course dinner, including a glass of champagne per course. Also, a DJ will play records from 11 pm until 1 am to spice up your New Year's Eve party. So, here's to a diverse and joyful New Year's celebration at the InterContinental Budapest!

Christmas turkey for takeaway

If you'd rather stay in for the holidays, but don't feel like cooking, their holiday take-out turkey pack will be your saviour. Our editorial staff had the opportunity to taste it and we can't recommend it enough! It's generous, fulfilling, flavoursome, and also a good choice in terms of value for money.

The pack serves 6-8 people, you can take it away in a vacuum pack, or you can have it delivered for an extra charge, so all you need to do is serve it on the Christmas table. The package includes a crispy, golden brown, whole roasted turkey, surrounded by roasted vegetables, accompanied by a silky gravy and sweet and sour cranberry sauce in a clasp jar. Complete with mashed potatoes, purple cabbage, cinnamon-roasted sweet potatoes, carrots in butter, roast stuffing, steamed Brussels sprouts, and green beans, as well as an oh-so-delicious apple pie – as there's no Christmas feast without dessert.

Christmas cakes and hot punch at the Christmas Kiosk

If festive brunches or dinners are not your thing, but you'd still like to indulge in a few hours of authentic Christmas cheer, head to the hotel bar. Here, a Christmas Kiosk has been set up to enjoy cakes and punch while taking in the beautiful panoramic views of the Danube.

The Christmas Kiosk is open during the bar's opening hours, but reservations are required for the festive season by calling +36 20 429 7937 between 9 am and 4 pm or emailing corso.restaurant@ihg.com.
