From 1-3 December, you can not only explore the charming town Szentedre and its Christmas market (opening on December 2nd) but travel there in style aboard a vintage train adorned with twinkling lights – all at regular fares.

And the festive cheer continues on December 6th, as Santa himself boards the same train, bringing songs, reindeer and gifts! Christmas fleet with the Christmas Tram and trolley

The dazzling Christmas tram, a fleet of snaking yellow vehicles wrapped in fairy lights, is a holiday essential in Budapest. The most famous of them is Tram 2, which runs on the riverside and offers scenic views. But several other lines get decked out in festive decorations, and illuminated buses join the fleet too. They are setting off on their journey on December 1st, rolling out after sunset, and they will be on the road until January 7th.
