Last year was the first time Lumina Park opened its doors to showcase stunning light installations. Visitors could explore a wonderful world at the Palatinus Open-Air Baths on Margaret Island, filled with audiovisual experiences. The organisers have just announced that they are making a comeback with a new exhibition at the end of October, offering an adventure to anyone up for a lit-up stroll in the gloomy autumn weather.
What we know for sure is that a new theme will be applied, related to Budapest's 150th birthday. If you have been wandering on Margaret Island in the summer, you might have spotted a matching figure to Budapest's iconic lion (which guards the renewed Chain Bridge) at the entrance of the Palatinus. That is the indication of the upcoming Lumina season. Stay tuned for further details.
