People last partied at Romkert in 2018 and since then, there’s been no sunrise to greet at the foot of Gellért Hill, beside Rudas Baths. Thankfully, this summer, the legend is now reborn – not only reborn but experiencing an unexpected, amazing renaissance.
It now welcomes partygoers from Tuesdays to Saturdays, from noon to dawn. The new Romkert can accommodate 1,400 people (including the VIP sections) and has become the most exclusive open-air entertainment venue of the summer of 2022 with spectacular design solutions.
“Let’s meet at the hill,” is what they say, and it's even nicer to start and end a more relaxed weekday or weekend here, since you can turn up as early as noon then go on until the evening, dancing and having fun, with cool cocktails, delicious snacks and a hookah pipe at your table.
Every day, you can find a different style of music, with appearances by
top performers. There have even been rumours of global superstars passing by to take the mike for a spontaneous session.
Tuesday is for pop, Wednesday hip hop, R&B
and reggaeton, Thursday is slightly more retro with music from the 2000s, while
Friday is focused on the music of today and tracks by the most popular artists.
On Saturday, you can dance to electronica, house and techno beats in this
beautiful environment, with a special view and a Budapest vibe at night.
