Joining Son Lux, Temples and Porridge Radio already confirmed for the new Budapest music festival Reflektor, Hundred Sins, Samurai Drive and Mayberian Sanskülotts and around two dozen other acts will also be performing between 14-16 July on the outskirts of Budapest. The deadline for the cheapest advance tickets is midnight, this Thursday, 19 May.
As we reported in April, a great new festival is taking place in Budapest this year, a three-day showcase for alternative music. Reflektor is being staged between 14-16 July at Terebesi erdő, near Örs vezér tere, just a tram hop from town.
So far, confirmed acts included US experimentalists Son Lux, Kettering rockers Temples and Yorkshire duo Seafret. Now these are being joined by Hungarian bass player and visual artist Hundred Sins, who has just released his first album, Opera, along with neo-Noir duo Samurai Drive and dreamy pop combo Mayberian Sanskülotts, currently undertaking a tour of Central Europe including a date at Müpa in early June.
