Hungarian Cycling Tourism have found an imaginative way to promote two recently renovated cycling routes. On 19 February, a costumed bicycle tour will go around Etyek, and on the 26, around Szentendre. Each route is about 25km long, on cycle paths recently upgraded by the association.

Hungarian Cycling Tourism (MAKETUSZ) have recently renovated two popular bike routes around Etyek and Szentendre. As this is carnival season, the association is organising two bike rides in costume, one around Etyek, the other from Lake Omszk in Budakalász to Szentendre.

Participation is free and fancy dress isn’t obligatory.

Those wishing to ride around Etyek should meet on Saturday, 19 February at 10.30am at the Sipospack site, Zsámbéki út 11A, in Herceghalom, north of Etyek. The Szentendre event takes place on Saturday, 26 February, at 10.30am at Lake Omszk. After a detour to Pomáz, cyclists will ride to Szentendre, then the tour ends at the sports hall in Budakalász.
