Starting today, Friday, 4 June, boats will be running every two hours between stops around Budapest city centre, going as far north as Margaret Island, then south to the Bálna and back. Vigadó tér is the start and end point. Monthly travel passes are valid Tuesday to Thursday, all-day tickets are 1,000 forints Friday through Sunday.

Catering to local and tourist alike, new scheduled river services will be setting off from jetty 5 at Vigadó tér in the city centre every two hours, calling at the Academy of Sciences by Chain Bridge, the sports pool on Margaret Island, Batthyány tér, the Technical University, the Bálna and back to Vigadó tér.

Each round trip lasts 1hr 15mins. Boats run every day of the week except Monday. See the schedule here – Hungarian-only but the timetable is easy to work out.
