Alternative bar Beat On The Brat to close and sell off its rock memorabilia

One of the mainstays of Budapest bar scene, the Ramones-inspired Beat On The Brat, is closing its doors, prompting a sell-off of its classic rock posters, album covers, flyers and even disco ball. Located on Nyár utca, in the heart of the now silent party quarter in District VII, BOTB have assured their many followers a new location should open later in the year.

Classic album covers, colourful flyers and even a glittering disco ball are being auctioned off by cult Budapest bar Beat On The Brat, now closing its locale on Nyár utca in District VII.

Followers are encouraged to watch the bar’s Facebook page as stock and relics are being sold off – and to look out for news of a reopening elsewhere in town.
