New delicatessen opens in classy Buda quarter - sip coffee with prosecco at Fernando Deli

At elegant Fernando Deli, you can relax outside on the beautiful terrace sipping coffee or something stronger, and choose from a wide selection of mainly Mediterranean treats.

Fernando Deli, near the Rózsakert Shopping Centre in classy District II, comprises an elegant terrace and cosy if tiny interior, overseen by a welcoming staff. Their products are mainly premium Mediterranean or small-batch Hungarian, the prices surprisingly affordable considering the location on the Buda side.

Fresh savoury and sweet baked goods are provided by renwoend Szabi a Pék, dairy products come from Berchtesgaden in Bavaria, the meat and cheeses from Italy and Spain. The Hungarian selection includes smoked beef cold cuts, pork-rind spreads, as well as Greek aubergine spread and premium olive oils from a local Hungarian manufacture, Igaziolíva.

A promising selection of wines, traditional champagnes, proseccos, cavas, gins, tonics, organic soft drinks by Passion Mama, Torres crisps, canned juices, mortadella with truffles, Hungarian small-batch tomato products and Oliver Heiszler's bottled KÓPÉK Manufacture spicy ketchup - to name but a few of the wide range of Fernando’s offer.

The quality products speak for themselves and you're also supporting small-batch producers. Heating will soon warm up the terrace, so you can enjoy your treats while admiring the stunning Buda landscape.
