Gergely Gulyás, the head of the Prime Minister’s Office, has just announced that the government will maintain pandemic restrictions until 1 March at least. These measures will next be reviewed in the second half of February. Currently, the curfew restricts all movement outdoors between 8pm and 5am, while cafés and restaurants may only have food and drinks delivered or serve takeaway customers.

Current curfew measures, imposed last November, are due to stay in place until 1 March at least, according to an announcement by Gergely Gulyás, head of the Prime Minister’s Office.

Relief can only be expected if Covid numbers decrease significantly or enough people can be vaccinated.

According to Gulyás, numbers declined sharply thanks to the November closures but opening things up now might spread the epidemic once more.
