Two firms, TSPC and partners CÉH+, have just been commissioned to renovate Szent János Hospital, located behind Városmajor in Buda. The project is huge, covering nearly 50 buildings over 14 hectares, but has been given priority by the Hungarian government. Nearly one million consultations a year take place here, mainly involving patients from north and central Buda.
The renewal of Szent János Hospital in Buda will be a huge task, not least because many of its buildings are listed and require significant renovation. According to developers TSPC, the network as a whole will be revamped, including transport, parking and ambulance facilities. The hospital will provide patient care during the rebuilding set to last several years.
