Just outside Budapest near Budakalász, Lupa Beach throws open its doors for free entry from 7pm. Amid a Caribbean atmosphere, beach volleyball, SUP yoga and education, night bathing and special children’s activities will all take place.
At Csillaghegy up in Óbuda, the Pünkösdfürdő Baths go retro all day on Saturday, with old disco hits and fitness workouts from yesteryear as families do battle with water guns. The day ends with a feast of Abba and dancing.
Aquaworld will run until 1am on Saturday night (pools close at 12.30am). Shows include cocktail-mixing and Hawaiian dance presentations, and sauna demonstrations every hour. The complex comprises 11 slides and 15 pools of all descriptions.
Near the MOM Park mall in Buda, MOM Sport puts on various aquafitness, diving and SUP activities until 2am, backdropped at sunset by the wonderful silhouette of the Buda hills.
Down in Budaörs, the local pool and beach pampers guests with free sauna sessions and watery surprises until midnight.
