New Covid testing centre set up at Budapest Airport

A new Covid testing centre offering results in 24-48 hours and rapid antigen tests in 15-20 minutes has just opened in terminal 2B of Budapest Airport. The facility is available to all – arriving and departing passengers, as well as the general public. Registration is required for each test, along with a fee of 19,500 forints.

Set up in Arrivals at terminal 2B of Budapest Airport, a Covid testing centre is now in operation to anyone who registers and pays for their test, with swift results – no appointment necessary. Results are sent to you by email.

You can find details and register here. You then receive a QR code which you scan on-site for a queue number. There’s also a number despatching machine there, with social distancing kept as you wait.

Speed and safety

“It was very important for us to open a Covid testing centre at the airport before the holidays, thus offering a quick and safe testing opportunity for everyone, especially passengers arriving home for the festive period,” says Budapest Airport CEO, Dr Rolf Schnitzler.
