Every year, the Aquincum Museum of Roman and Celtic treasures celebrates Samhain, pagan Halloween, in full Celtic style. We checked out the fire-laden sword fights, arts and crafts, and artefacts on display, while museum employees dressed up in ancient clothes!

Safely masked in accordance with coronavirus regulations, employees of the museum led visitors on tours around the museum by torchlight.

Visitors to the museum are allowed to roam the grounds during the Halloween event, and this year the full moon made a spooky appearance, as well.

Arts and crafts activities were set up for both children and adults, with a pumpkin beauty contest for both groups.
