Just opened atop the Budapest Marriott Hotel, the Liz and Chain Sky Lounge adds to the city’s rooftop drinking destinations – only this one stands right by the Danube, overlooking the two bridges that provide its name, with a perfect view of Buda Castle and beyond.
Up on the ninth floor of the Budapest Marriott Hotel, the Liz and Chain Sky Lounge has just been unveiled, capitalising on an idea that came to mind during the shutdown. Why not use this panoramic space to full advantage?
So, from now until the autumn, visitors can look forward to cocktails and cool drinks, hot and cold meze, tapas, desserts à la carte – along with that view of Buda’s Danube bank in its entirety, and the key landmarks of Pest, Parliament and the Basilica.
The bar operates from Thursdays to Saturdays from 5pm to midnight, with private events and functions the rest of the week. Reservations recommended around sunset.
