Safety and style underline the choice of seating for the new M3 metro stations currently being planned for Budapest. Replacing the hazardous plastic chairs will be chic concrete seating created by award-winning Hungarian company VPI. Take a look!

Based on the plans of Márk Nagy-Mihály, the LUNGO seating system manufactured by VPI will be installed at stations of the central section of metro line 3 currently under renovation.
Their form was inspired by the design of the old plastic chairs, with and without backrests, allowing passengers to relax in a variety of ways while waiting for their metro train.
