Renowned urban guerrilla sculptor Mihály Kolodko has just announced that his latest creation features actor Gyula Bodrogi and the classic children's TV character he voiced, Süsü the Dragon.
Mihály Kolodko’s miniature sculpture pieces are always a hit whenever they pop up in Budapest – Instagram is full of posts by delighted visitors who discover these unique installations during their time in the Hungarian capital. The fallen meerkat, lying next to the statue of TV detective Columbo, is one classic example.
His latest sculpture depicts Gyula Bodrogi – the actor who lends his voice to one of the most popular kids’ shows in Hungary, Süsü the Dragon – just as he's pulling the Süsü costume off his head. A video was created by the artist showing its completion and display, and the sculpture itself can be found at downtown Szabadság tér.
