Following its success in 2018, a mobile sauna is being set up alongside Bartók Béla út next Saturday, 14 December. It’s all part of the SlowXmas initiative, involving several venues on this lively stretch of a main street in Buda. Up to five or six people can sit and sweat for 90 minutes, with changing facilities alongside.
A group of friends or complete strangers can take advantage of a pop-up sauna opening for one day only at Gárdonyi tér, the little square by the tram stop of the same name on adjoining Bartók Béla út.
Organisers will fire up the sauna from early hours so that it’s ready for use by 11am. It will stay open until 7.30pm, later if there’s enough demand.
The event has been organised by saunatogo. Book tickets here.
