For St Martin’s Day, on 7 November DNB Budapest is preparing a real goose feast, with the finest wines from the renowned Bock stable an essential element alongside traditional and reinvented dishes.

Abundant festive goose selections, St Martin’s Day specials and wines in perfect accompaniment await at the Budapest Marriott Hotel, with its stunning panoramic views. St Martin's Day is the last main celebration before Christmas, so the feasts, balls and fairs around it have a long tradition. November sees an abundance of goose-stuffing, so the dishes on St Martin's Day centre around goose. DNB Budapest’s wine dinner will be no different.

The event will be hosted by award-winning Hungarian winemaker József Bock, who will be welcoming guests from 7pm with special nectars and a celebratory communal buffet spread. In addition to plentiful goose and autumnal hot and cold appetisers and soups, a salad bar and desserts, you can look forward to main dishes such as cholent with smoked goose breast, stuffed goose neck, goose pilaf, pan-fried Szilvásvárad trout and lemon spinach, pan-fried goose liver with Jerusalem artichoke purée, ponzu sauce and onion-crumbled oats.
