An igloo with a view – 360 Bar opens for Halloween

After two successful winters atop the landmark former Paris Department Store on showcase Andrássy út, the 360 Bar is opening once more for the upcoming chilly season.

This time, there’s a special Halloween party to kick off proceedings, starting tonight, Thursday 31 October, and running until 11pm… on Sunday 3 November. Every evening for the next four nights, DJs will spin and spellbinding cocktails will flow. Tonight, admission is 1,000 forints, otherwise it’s free to enter.

Nine igloos have been set up, two specially designed for larger groups, but if you arrive early enough, you can choose a jungle or a vintage theme.

Enhancing the experience within are rugs, blankets, furry pillows, atmospheric lights and a small fireplace-like heater. And since vision can get a little blurry depending on your level of alcohol intake, each igloo has a window that can be opened.

As each one is transparent, people tucked inside can enjoy a breathtakingly beautiful panorama across Budapest.
