Created by the team at the Budapest 2019 European Sport Capital office, the new application is available in Apple and Android versions, in English and Hungarian. After a simple registration process, users can choose from around 100 sports, whether it’s diving or kung fu.
You can specify the district where you prefer to get active, or customise other categories to suit your needs, filtering your requirements to find a park with disabled facilities or a baby-friendly gym.
The app is also tuned in to events and happenings around town, such as yoga at Citadella in August or Nordic Walking Day this October. Soon the list will include outdoor exercise sessions around the capital, accompanied by training advice.
The Budapest Sport Application can be downloaded to iPhones from here and Androids from here. The developers would appreciate all feedback, opinions and suggestions concerning the app’s content and operation so they can improve your user experience.
