Oh boy... Digó definitely make one of the best Neapolitan pizzas in town and now they’ve just opened a new eatery at the Római Shore, a hot hangout of Budapest summer. Digó Pizza Terrazza will operate every weekend until the end of September, transporting guests straight to southern Italy from this tranquil spot in Óbuda.
Now that the sun has come out, there’s only one thing better than taking your bike or the public boat all the way to the Római Shore to chill by the water, and that’s dipping your feet in the river once you’re there, and dripping pizza sauce all over the place – and that pizza can only come from Digó, one of the best in town. Light and airy dough, tasty, high-quality toppings; Digó’s pizzas are simple but stunning.
Having started out with pop-up outlets – at the Sziget Festival, for instance – Digó opened a seasonal pizza place on central Erzsébet tér. And now its wood-fired oven is also in full swing at the Római Shore every weekend until the end of September.
