Flying into Central European capitals such as Vienna, Prague and Zagreb, travelers who want to stay near the airport have long had several hotels to choose from. Now, with the opening of ibis Styles Budapest Airport by the Paris-based AccorHotels group, the Hungarian capital can provide the same convenience. Business visitors can not only take advantage of the soundproofed guestrooms, but engage with colleagues and clients in one of the half-dozen designated meeting spaces set behind the sleek white exterior now prominent alongside the airport car park. Rooms are available for reservation from January 3rd onwards.

From Wednesday, 145 stylishly furnished guest rooms await travelers at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. Ibis Styles Budapest Airport is the first hotel in the Hungarian capital to be directly connected to Terminal 2 at the city’s major air transport hub. The new lodging is being unveiled amid the record-breaking growth in passenger numbers that the Budapest Airport has been registering in recent months.

Housing soundproofed standard rooms and six suites, this new accommodation also features six modern meeting rooms, making it a useful resource for business and leisure traveler alike. There’s also an on-site restaurant with international catering and a lobby bar, open to guests and those who don’t have a room reservation at the hotel. Currently, guestrooms are available for reservation from 69 euros.
