From today, November 3rd, Budapest Boulevard Cinema is launching a series of English-friendly Hungarian and international films. The team at the popular summer Budapest Rooftop Cinema, based at the Corvin building on Blaha Lujza Square, is moving inside, and across the Grand Boulevard, for the autumn. Art+ Cinema, presents timeless comedies, major masterpieces and cultic trash movies most days of the week.

On Mondays, the Budapest Boulevard Cinema entertains movie maniacs with the so-called ART+ Underground series, highlighting newer classics and cultic films from recent years, presented with high-quality original audio and Hungarian subtitles. On Tuesdays outstanding works produced by the Hungarian film industry – both new and old – take the limelight, presented with original Hungarian audio and English subtitles.

On Wednesdays, documentaries focus on the life of a museum, a painter, a musician and a whole band, while on Thursdays the Oriental Movie Club features major films from Asia, specifically South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Bollywood. While weekdays will focus more on classics, at weekends film lovers can enjoy the biggest blockbusters of recent years, as well as premier films.
