How to get there from Budapest: by car, take motorway M3 east from Budapest (make sure that you buy a motorway pass) until reaching exit 114 to the juncture with main road 33, and turn right at the bottom of the off-ramp to head north towards Eger. Continue north on main road 33 until reaching the first roundabout at the juncture with main road 3, and follow main road 3 toward Eger for a few minutes until you reach the right-side turnoff toward main road 25 to Eger, which will take you through the small town of Kerecsend along Füzesabonyi út. When you reach the intersection with main road 25, continue straight ahead as Füzesabonyi út turns into Demjéni út, and keep following this road all the way through the village of Demjén. Soon after leaving Demjén on this same road, you will see a huge parking lot on the right side of the road – take the first right after this lot, and the Salt Hill is located a few hundred meters straight ahead.
