10:30pm - 5am: Bladerunnaz pres. The Upbeats at A38The Bladerunnaz party-organizing team was founded in 1998 to bring the best dance music to Budapest, and became more and more popular around the capital. Today, Bladerunnaz are one of the most important party organizers in the electronic music scene, and are Hungary’s leading promoters of drum and bass. On Friday, they present The Upbeats.
10pm - 4am: Electroswing Party at Mika Tivadar Mulató
Budapest’s Mika Tivadar Mulató hosts an evening when swing and jazz combine with cool contemporary tunes, and the best tunes of the 1900s mingle with modern music presented by Ramses Hoppa (NL), Lapidem (FR), and Lay DNA (HU).
10:30pm - 5am: Ramin Sayyah with Henri Gonzo at Toldi KlubRamin Sayyah and Henri Gonzo, who both mix live techno with electric guitar, effect-heavy singing, and live percussion, perform together at Toldi for the first time. The Persian-Cuban-Spanish-Hungarian duo might already be familiar to a few: Ramin with his series Analogue Soul, and Henri as the front man of Fran Palermo; this time, they amaze the audience with a memorable gig on Saturday.

This year, the Pentecost Market awaits everyone with Mangalica pork and Grey Cattle sausages, syrup sodas, fruit juices, sauces, creams, ripe strawberries and cherries, mushrooms, pumpkin seeds, and other palatable treats. Hungarian ceramist Vera Bodai holds a craft workshop, presenting how to form fantastic objects from clay.
8am - : Sziget Run at Margaret Island If you’re dreaming to get a hot summer body, join this free community jogging jamboree on Saturday, and run five kilometers around Margaret Island with eager amateur and professional joggers.
And if you get the hang of it, you can keep going with the same crowd on the first Saturday of every month during summer.

Danube Carnival at various venuesDuring June 3-18, Budapest hosts one of the most colorful cultural event series of Hungary, the Danube Carnival. This fun-filled multicultural festival awaits everyone with preformances of folk, symphonic, and world music, and traditional and contemporary dance. Furthermore, the folklore and traditions of five participating countries will also be presented during the festival.
