There are so many songs about bouncing (think R. Kelly) and these will inspire you to head to Jump City, the world's largest open-air trampoline park built on top of WestEnd City Centre. And once there, all you will be able to think about is “I believe I can fly, I believe I can touch the sky!” Have fun!

This unique place sits on 1100 square meters of the three-acre Millennium Roof Garden and it awaits jumping enthusiasts from April until the end of September.

"The park consists of seven different zones, and it is possible to jump from wall to wall while taking part in various skills games. In each zone, we can develop a different skill. There's a 12-meter-long trampoline, the sponge pool, the dodgeball, basketball and freestyle zones. We can also try the fitness area or the trampoline board with which we can practice snowboarding, kite surfing and skateboarding moves. The organisers thought of the little ones as well, and so those aged three to eight can use the children’s areas of the park. With the help of the staff everyone can learn the basics of trampolining, and then proceed to higher levels,” says András Kalmár who came up with the idea in 2012.

As we learned from Áron Takács, the founder of the world-famous acrobatic basketball team Face Team, the trampoline is rather useful for kids and adults alike, since it improves coordination and endurance. Olympic silver and gold medalist swimmer László Cseh, who also gave the park’s facilities a try, agrees:

"My pulse increased just after two minutes, and it moved my whole body. I like complex exercises, so I will surely come back here.”

As for the prices, a half-hour ticket for children (aged 3-8) costs 1300 forints, while the adult ticket (8+) costs 1500 forints for half an hour, and 2500 forints for a whole hour. There are school group tickets (800 HUF/person) and fitness tickets (1500 HUF) available as well.
