On cold winter days, we walk past empty bar terraces with sorrowful nostalgia, remembering the summertime when we could still drink wine under the open sky. This year, the Gozsdu Sky Terrace offers an alternative to this torment: complete winterization, which allows guests to enjoy the usual high-altitude air in a covered and heated environment. Among the colorful pillows and rattan furniture, there is no question of whether the terrace brings the warm atmosphere we are used to enjoying here during more balmy months.
Still, there are some changes: thanks to the enlarged drink selection, we can now sip mulled wine and punch while admiring the Citadel. The open kitchen’s hours have also been extended; so guests can get their well-deserved hamburger for lunch, as well. As a result of the reconstruction, great emphasis was placed on the dance floor, which will also be used for morning yoga classes in the future.
From Monday to Wednesday, relaxing cultural events will be emphasized, such as jazz and acoustic concerts or fashion shows, while in the second half of the week, the electronic-music line intensifies, and a party atmosphere takes the lead. The season’s biggest event will undoubtedly be the New Year’s Eve party, for which the management is already preparing with gusto.As we mentioned, the glass cover also functions as serious sound insulation – and fortunately for tobacco aficionados, the spacious smoking area is covered, as well.
