Designers, celebs, fashion designers and graphic artists, painters, tattoo artists, rock stars, trendy idlers, young startup entrepreneurs - and maybe their best friends. This is pretty much the lineup we can expect at one downtown nightclub’s Secret Room, which we can't name. Only those with serious connections can attend.
We managed to send one of our spies to one such party, organised by Absolut. This event ran under the slogan “for the lucky few.” Even the after party was held at a location that only a few could hope to enter.
The after party took place in Secret Room, which we can access from a downtown nightclub. What happened? We cannot tell you everything, but image a house party with great conversations, collective smoking and drinking, in an exclusive striptease bar-boudoir style environment, which is dominated by crystal chandeliers and mirrors.
However, if you want to know all the secrets of these exclusive parties, you will have to somehow get invited to one of these events. The other problem is, entry is only possible with a Facebook name and password. If you managed to obtain one, you do not have to stand in line either, as the organisers will let you in at the VIP entrance. However, it is strongly recommended to arrive on time, because the venue's capacity is limited, so newcomers are admitted only after someone else leaves. At this particular party invited guests could bring one other friend to join them.
The Secret Room parties are held regularly, but some of them are so secret that no information leaks out at all about their existence. We don't know who the next invitees are going to be, but it is worth getting around and making friends in the city, since after a while if you know the right people, you could find yourself on one such guest list.
Nevertheless, we know that the event series of Absolut.Locals.
will certainly continue, because the party series would like to give the party people and the creatives of Budapest the chance to mingle.
