This charming specialty café is found in a workaday part of District VII. A friendly English couple founded The Goat Herder in 2015, and it soon became popular with students from the nearby University of Veterinary Medicine and McDaniel College. The early opening hours and mid-afternoon closing probably suit the needs of these in academia, a shame as many might love to pop in for a croissant sandwich or a Bircher muesli after work. Even though the prices are not the cheapest, the quality is definitely worth it.
