Through this event, we can learn about people we can thank for our food: Peruvian potato growing Indians, Ukrainian farmers boasting with their crops and people managing underwater crab colonies off the coast of Canada.


We can get an idea of other countries’ eating habits, of what, how and how much people eat on other continents. We can often find surprising and interesting differences between countries, or even families and time periods.
