From 20 to 23 November, Nor/ma Grand marks Pippi Longstocking’s 80th birthday with a three-day Pancake (Palacsinta) Festival inspired by Astrid Lindgren’s beloved Swedish heroine. True to Pippi’s playful spirit, the Scandinavian-style café invites guests to indulge in homemade hazelnut cream and blackcurrant jam with curd cheese pancakes, served in a cosy, nostalgic atmosphere that feels straight out of a storybook. To round off the celebration, the Scandinavian House (Kinizsi utca 33) hosts a Pippi Kids’ Club on Saturday at 3 pm, complete with fun activities, laughter and a dash of childhood mischief.
