Zita Gereben
graduated from the jazz department of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in 2008, and founded her own band, the
Gereben Zita Quintet
in 2007. The formation of young, talented musicians (Bence Bécsy – guitar, Gábor „Tojás” Horváth – piano, István Bata – bass, Attila Gálfi – drums) performs her songs in a fresh, unique tone. Zita’s musical career is rather diverse, and thus she uses a wide variety of musical styles in addition to her bold, velvety voice. Her quintet has released two studio albums so far, in which she made a debut as a composer and lyricist, as well. Her eclectic shows, songs show the stylistic features of RnB, pop, rock and jazz, too.
