On March 19, the last day before spring
Goût de France / Good France
will bring together
1,000 chefs from 5 continents
to celebrate
French gastronomy
.
Dinners
served simultaneously in participating restaurants will honor the merits of French cuisine, its capacity for innovation, and its values. On this day the joy of eating well and eating quality food will be shared all over the world.
In 1912
Auguste Escoffier
came up with the idea of the Epicurean Dinner Series, which entails the same menu being served on the same day at restaurants in several different cities. In 2015 Goût de France / Good France carries on the same concept with the aim of involve
restaurants
from different categories in the project.

The event will be the first concrete manifestation of the fact that French gastronomy is flourishing all over the world and has recently been included on
UNESCO
’s World Heritage list.

10 Hungarian restaurants have been selected by the Parisian jury. You can find the list on the
event’s Facebook page
