A magical attraction landed in Budapest's oldest botanical gardens: an array of light installations transport you to Alice's surreal Wonderland. The multimedia exhibition 'Garden of Lights' is opening in the 8th district's ELTE Botanical Gardens on 20 October, but here is a spoiler: we had a sneak peek, and it took our breath away. Snag a ticket and go on a light-filled adventure to mingle with the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts.

The 250-year-old ELTE Botanical Gardens (ELTE Füvészkert) is a wonderful place to visit all year round. But the garden has just upped its game as it welcomed a new multimedia exhibition, which will definitely brighten any chilly and gloomy evening. From 20 October, you can – and please do – go down the rabbit hole (and along a 52-metre light tunnel) and immerse yourself in the fairytale world of the Garden of Lights! This new attraction has landed just in time to bring some magic into the autumn-winter season: walking around, you can explore a realm evoking the surreal world of Alice in Wonderland. Meet the Cheshire Cat, talk to the Caterpillar, and experience how poor the world would be without imagination at a Mad Tea Party!

The travelling multimedia exhibition, made by Polish creators, is set to dazzle your senses with its spectacular light and sound show. In the background, 500 thousand energy-saving LED bulbs, more than 20 thousand metres of fairy lights, 100 installations, and 20 photo points enhance the experience. Get a sneak peek with us!
