Along with Paris and Los Angeles, Budapest is bidding to host the 2024 Olympic Games here in the Magyar metropolis. The team behind this endeavor, Budapest2024, recently released the new “Budapest Connects Us” mini-movie that portrays various sports and beautiful city scenery, all presented from the perspectives of athletes and supporters alike.
Budapest2024’s new nearly two-minute-long promo video presents values that define the lives of Budapest’s residents, such as success, courage, passion, commitment, and a love of life. These are also the values that Budapest’s bid for the 2024 Olympic Games is attempting to build on. The video’s sporty scenes draw a parallel between the various means of public transportation in the Magyar metropolis and its sport facilities by presenting the perspectives of athletes and supporters alike, while a soothing song by Hungarian indie-rock band
