Vittula was opened in 2004 by Timothy Etherington Green, who decided to settle down in Budapest and open a pub after many tours around Europe. The place, basically working in symbiosis with the adjacent Omnivore Gallery, has become a pioneer place of urban underground since its opening, and it is more ruin pub-styled than any other place. The prices – intentionally – are really friendly, and the regulars are as permanent as colorful. Vittula is small, but friendly; everyone can drop by and listen to their favorite record. The Vittula nights are unforgettable, so it is definitely a must-try!
