The cosy TÁBLA operates as the little brother of ESCA in Dohány utca, ensuring a leisurely spent meal. Not only does the design resemble the dining room of a family house, the kitchen also specialises in affordable, homely menus. Despite the wallet-friendly prices, however, the quality remains high thanks to chef Gábor Fehér. The appetisers, main courses and desserts change continuously, but never to anyone’s disappointment. The restaurant starts the morning with tasty breakfasts rich in egg and cheese, then serves lunch and, after a quick siesta, reopens in the evening with dinner options. Due to the scarcity of tables, it's worth reserving one ahead of time.
