The Szamos family opened their Gourmet House in Vörösmarty square, which is a confectionery, a café and a chocolate manufacture under the same roof. All kinds of palatable Szamos products can be found here from handmade bonbons through cakes to marzipans, prepared from top-quality ingredients. As a novelty, the place also offers a daily menu, breakfasts and simple but succulent á la carte courses like salads, baguettes, or a Goulash soup, and a specialty: the chili-chocolate tenderloin. In order to fit in with the elegant building of the Exchange Palace, the Gourmet House teamed up with the Herendi Porcelain Manufacture.
