The Rákosszentmihály lookout can be found at the junction of Sashalom utca, Homokdomb utca and Rákóczi út. Rising up for 22 metres, this kind of a structure is a rarity on the Pest side. There are detached family homes as far as the eye can see in the idyllic surroundings, and the tower provides a great view of Reformátorok tere as well. The Buda hills, Parliament and St Stephen’s Basilica can also be admired from different angles. After gazing at the city from above, you can admire the statues of reformers John Calvin, Martin Luther and István Bocskai in the nearby park, where children can play in a modern playground and a monumental slide park and parents can keep an eye on them from the terrace of the adjoining café.
