Pinxto (‘pincho’) is a tiny but original tapas bar at Egyetem tér, offering the most popular Basque delicacies. The locale got its name after these emblematic bar snacks, often spiked to a piece of bread. To go with the tapas plates, tiny sandwiches and spiked snacks, Pintxo also offers excellent Spanish wines. Keep in mind that they only open later in the afternoon, when this cosy place comes into its own.
